Get ready for the Lowveld Autumn Festival

MBOMBELA – “We have been planning this event since last year to put The Lapa back on the map and create a platform for local artists to showcase their abilities,” said Nick Olivier, part-owner and co-founder of the festival.

Along with the selection of local artists, national artists like Saarkie, Juan Boucher, Albert de Wet and Piet Pompies will also light up the stage.

“We will also have an area for the children with two babysitters as well as a jumping castle and face painting. This is so that the entire family will be entertained. This service will be free of charge,” Olivier said. A beer garden and various stalls will complete the festivities.
Tickets cost R150 per person. There is also a VIP option. Tickets for this costs R500 per person and include a chance to mingle with the artists.

 

Piet Pompies

The Mienke Mulder fund will receive  10 per cent of all ticket proceeds.
“We are very excited about the festival and we hope that it becomes an annual event for all the locals.”
